Chris Traina

Mr. Traina holds bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Computer Science and earned his law degree at Nova Southeastern University, having been a Goodwin Scholar. As a Registered Patent Attorney, Mr. Traina assists clients with the preparation and filing of patent applications in a wide array of fields, including computer software, medical devices, semiconductors, signal processing, and mechanical apparatuses. He also counsels clients with regard to patent portfolio strategies. In addition, he assists clients with matters relating to trademark and copyright protection, including preparation and filing of trademark and copyright applications, and litigation of intellectual property disputes.

Mr. Traina is also an editor of the Barrister, a monthly publication of the Broward County Bar Association, and is a former member of the board of directors of ArtServe, a South Florida art incubator that has been supporting local artists for more than 25 years. He is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association and the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida. In addition, Mr. Traina guest lectures on a variety of intellectual property topics in engineering and law classes, organizational events, and more.
